The Challenge
The homeowners were living with a cramped, 1990s-era kitchen: laminate counters with water damage near the sink, tired oak cabinetry, poor lighting, and a layout that cut the kitchen off from the living area. They wanted a modern, functional space for family gatherings — without blowing the budget or living through months of chaos.
Our Solution
Shield Construct delivered a full gut remodel: we removed the water-damaged cabinetry and counters, opened the sightline to the living room, installed premium quartz countertops, custom soft-close cabinetry, a large center island, recessed and pendant lighting, and matte-gold industrial hardware. Every milestone was photo-documented and approved through our platform before moving forward.
The Results
The finished kitchen delivered a dramatic before-and-after transformation in just six weeks, on budget and on schedule. The open layout, premium finishes, and improved lighting added significant resale value and turned an avoided room into the family’s favorite gathering place.
